Day 20: Elephants, more Cheetahs, & Birds

Imagine my surprise when I looked up and saw this scene at the watering hole.

The hole is probably 25 yards from our room decks.  This is really close.  These guys had so much fun.

A number of animals came to the watering hole including these female Kudus.

We also saw tons of elephants on our two game drives.  It’s surprising how close you can get to them.

We came up warthogs, impala, and a number of giraffe that were right by the side of the road.

The two male cheetahs had moved to another part of the reserve and our ranger found them again—lounging.

This one guy tried to get up a tree which he did, but because of their claws, he had a heck of a time staying up there.

The birds are really beautiful here.
